If you&#8217;re an avid traveler, the idea of driving an electric car in China is exciting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here are three of our guests who embarked on a memorable road trip across China with us. On an almost 15 days long road trip around China, 3 guests loved the experience of getting to explore the country with car.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Their travel itinerary includes from Xinjiang to Gansu, then Ningxia, Inner Mongolia, Shanxi, Hebei, Shandong, full of historical and cultural including the Ancient Silk Road and the capital, Beijing. When we started our tour, we found out that there is a lot more to China than just Beijing and Shanghai. There are many other cities and countries in China which have a unique history and culture. These places will help you understand better what Chinese people think about their country. We will show you the amazing places and the most interesting experiences in China with our guests. They also share their stories of how they got to know each other, as well as the highlights from their journey across China by car!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The journey was full of fun and excitement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"htoc-the-journey-from-beijing\">The Journey From Beijing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"htoc-great-wall-of-china\">Great Wall of China<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Our first stop was Beijing. This is the starting point of our trip. We checked into the hotel and had a quick breakfast before we started our journey to the Great Wall of China. It was almost 12:30pm when we arrived at Badaling section of the Great Wall, which is one of the most famous sections of this great wall that we could see in Beijing. It was really amazing to see the Great Wall from a different perspective, and also from far away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"htoc-forbidden-city-palace-museum\">Forbidden City (Palace Museum)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>After the Great Wall, we continued our journey in Beijing by car. It was really amazing to see this place from a different perspective. This place is one of the most famous palaces in China, and it was made for emperors only.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"htoc-the-summer-palace\">The Summer Palace<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Our next stop was the Summer Palace. We were really amazed by the beauty and the unique landscape of this place. The Summer Palace was also one of the most important places in Beijing that we could see from a different perspective. It is one of the most famous tourist attractions in Beijing. It is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We had lunch at one of the restaurants along the Summer Palace. After lunch, we walked around the Summer Palace for a while and took some photos of each other there. It was already late afternoon when we finished our tour at the Summer Palace. We were very tired from all that walking, so we went back to our hotel and had dinner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We had a great time in Beijing and I would highly recommend visiting the Great Wall, Ming Tombs, Summer Palace and the Forbidden City.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After finishing our trip in Beijing, we drove to Xi&#8217;an.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"htoc-the-journey-from-xi-an\">The Journey From Xi&#8217;an<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"htoc-terracotta-army\">Terracotta Army<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The city is the starting point of the Silk Road. The city has many beautiful buildings, such as the Terracotta Army, which includes thousands of life-size terracotta soldiers and horses that were made to protect the emperor Qin Shi Huang Di during his tomb. It was amazing to see this museum from a different perspective because we have never seen anything like it before. It is a must-see for every visitor to China.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"htoc-xi-an-city-wall\">Xi&#8217;an City Wall<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>We spent the last day in Xi&#8217;an and we decided to go to the city wall. The city wall of Xi&#8217;an is one of the most impressive examples of ancient Chinese city walls. The city wall, which was built in 1370 AD, has an area of about 13.7 square kilometers and a height averaging 12 meters. We spent most of our time there because we wanted to walk around it and take some photos. It was a great experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"htoc-the-journey-from-gansu\">The Journey From Gansu<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"htoc-jiayuguan-pass\">Jiayuguan Pass<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Jiayuguan Pass was built in the Ming Dynasty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The pass is located in the west of Gansu Province and is one of the most important strategic points on the Silk Road. There are many caves, including over 735 rock-cut chambers containing statues of Buddha, manuscripts and artwork. We spent a lot of time there because we wanted to see everything that was inside it. It was an amazing experience!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"htoc-the-journey-from-shanxi\">The Journey From Shanxi<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"htoc-yungang-grottoes\">Yungang Grottoes<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>We arrived in the city of Datong after a long journey from Gansu. Our first stop was Yungang Grottoes. It is one of the most important ancient Buddhist grottoes and it was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2001.
